 Last Wednesday, February 17, saw the induction of the new set of officers and directors for the Ateneo Alumni Association at the Ateneo Professional Schools in Rockwell Center, Makati.
Monchito Roco formally took over the reigns of leadership from two-time AAA President Mike Valencia. University President Fr. Benvienido Nebres S.J., in his remarks to the new officers and directors and class representatives, thanks the AAA for helping out in functions that the university is unable to deal with.
Valencia on the other hand, delivered his valedictory address and thanked what he coined, "the unsung heroes of the AAA -- the office staff."
Roco outlined the direction for the AAA for the year which will be on branding and communication, finance and fund-raising, oversight, directory/database, and service-oriented programs.
