Blue Eagles raise money for AHON Foundation

 The AHON (Acts of Hope for the Nation) Foundation able to raise a total of PhP 29,995 from the sales, the auction, and other donations from generous friends from The White Hat's Celebrity for Charity with the Ateneo Blue Eagles last Saturday, February 13, at Shangri-La Plaza.
The Blue Eagles were on hand to serve cups of ice cream to customers and half the earnings from the cups they served will be donated to theAHON Foundation.
Said veteran guard-forward Raymond Austria, "If basketball can be used to help others then it's always good."
Eric Chao, one of the owners of The White Hat was very pleased with the turnout for the event. "This is something that we were looking for. An event like this. More than exposure for us, it is for a good cause. We don't mind this and AHON is doing something that is beneficial for the country."
Present at the charity event were Head Coach Norman Black, Team Manager Paolo Trillo, Fr. Nemy Que S.J., Director for Admission and Aid, and members of the team.
